RetroFit is a talented classic-rock cover band with more than 500 songs
on its play list. The performance material largely focuses on era-specific
songs from the late 60s to mid-70s, with some classic country, new wave
and modern rock tunes thrown in for good measure.
RetroFit is led by guitarist/singer Randy Casey. His experience
over the past twenty years includes major label recording and touring;
music scores for plays; and underscoring for film, video, advertising
and independent record production. A solid solo performer as well as band
leader, Randy has been nominated by the Minnesota Music Academy for "Best
Guitarist."
RetroFit is co-fronted by Minnesota Music Award recipient John Eller.
A killer guitarist and keyboard player, John's vocal range allows the
band to cover songs that are simply out of range for most vocalists. John
is also a composer and a private music instructor.
Steve Price anchors bass guitar and backing vocals. Steve is a
record producer and instructor at the Institute of Production & Recording
in Minneapolis. He has major label recording credits (Geffen) and his
music can be heard on several movie sound tracks. Steve is also a member
of the popular band Two Tickets to Paradise.
The RetroFit lineup is rounded out by drummer Tommy Alsides, whose
rock-solid drumming style makes him an in-demand session player. Drummers
Noah Levy and Dave Russ also often play with the band.

In addition to private parties and club dates, the members of RetroFit
have performed regularly at the Metrodome in Minneapolis as house band
for the Minnesota Twins and the Minnesota Vikings. The principal members
of RetroFit were part of the Minnesota Wild house band, having performed
at the Excel Energy Center over 150 times, including the 2004 NHL All-Star
game.
